Welding Rods Monolith Electrode RC 3.2 mm 2.5 kg
Welding Rods Monolith Electrode RC 3.2 mm 2.5 kg
Monolith Electrode RC welding rods, diameter 3.2 mm, supplied in a 2.5 kg pack. These electrodes are formulated for manual metal arc welding (MMA) and provide stable arc characteristics with reduced welding fumes. They are intended for welding low-carbon steel structures using either direct current (DC) or alternating current (AC), suitable for general repair, construction and fabrication tasks.
Rutile-cellulose coated electrodes deliver reliable arc stability and good slag removal while minimizing welding emissions. The 3.2 mm diameter balances manageable feed and sufficient deposition for medium-thickness work. Packaged in a 2.5 kg container, the rods are convenient for workshop and on-site use.
Select the appropriate welding current and polarity for the 3.2 mm electrode according to the power source and joint design. Clean the weld area from rust, oil and dirt before welding. Strike the arc and maintain a consistent travel speed and electrode angle to ensure proper fusion and slag formation. Break or chip the slag between passes and remove spatter as needed. Follow standard safety and welding procedures for MMA welding.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (helmet, gloves, protective clothing) and ensure adequate ventilation to reduce exposure to welding fumes. Store electrodes in a dry place to prevent moisture absorption that can affect weld quality.
