Welding Electrode Monolith RC 3.2 mm 1 kg
Monolith RC welding electrodes, diameter 3.2 mm, supplied in a 1 kg package. These electrodes are intended for manual metal arc (MMA) welding of low-carbon steel structures and components. The rutilic-cellulose coating reduces welding fumes and provides stable arc characteristics suitable for both standard and critical constructions when welding with either direct or alternating current.
Rutilic-cellulose coated electrodes deliver reliable arc stability and easy slag detachment, which simplifies post-weld cleaning. The formulation reduces welding emissions and supports consistent weld quality across routine workshop and field repairs. Packaged in a 1 kg bundle with a 3.2 mm diameter for common MMA applications.
Select appropriate welding current and polarity for the 3.2 mm electrode and prepare joint surfaces by removing rust, scale, and contaminants. Strike and maintain a stable arc while controlling travel speed and electrode angle to achieve the desired penetration and bead profile. After welding, chip off slag and wire-brush the weld to inspect and finish the joint.
For best results, store electrodes in a dry place to prevent moisture pickup. Use correct amperage for 3.2 mm MMA electrodes and follow standard safety practices, including ventilation, eye and skin protection, and adherence to applicable welding procedures for the welded structure.
