Electrode Monolith M-308L stainless steel 2.5 mm
Electrode Monolith M-308L stainless steel 2.5 mm
Electrode Monolith M-308L stainless steel 2.5 mm are designed for welding AISI 304L, AISI 321, AISI 347 and other similar austenitic stainless steels at temperatures up to 450°C. The electrodes are supplied in a pack of three and have a 2.5 mm diameter, intended for manual metal arc (MMA) welding applications where corrosion-resistant stainless joints are required in fabrication, repair and maintenance.
Monolith M-308L electrodes provide stable arc characteristics and consistent metal deposition suitable for welding austenitic stainless steels. They are appropriate for welding equipment, tanks and piping used in potable water production and for applications in food, textile, petrochemical, pulp and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in automotive assembly, general engineering and commercial equipment manufacturing.
Use Monolith M-308L electrodes with appropriate MMA welding equipment. Select welding current and polarity according to electrode diameter and base material recommendations. Clean weld area from contaminants and ensure correct joint fit-up. Strike and maintain a stable arc, control heat input to avoid overheating, and apply correct welding technique for austenitic stainless steel to achieve sound welds. After welding, remove slag and inspect joints for continuity and surface quality.
Store electrodes in a dry place to prevent moisture uptake. For critical or sanitary applications, follow relevant industry standards and post-weld treatments as required for corrosion resistance and hygiene.
