Ethernet UTP Cable MONTIS MT114-20 — 20 m, Cat5e, unshielded twisted pair
UTP Ethernet Cable MONTIS MT114-20 is a 20 m Cat5e unshielded twisted pair cable designed for standard network installations. The cable provides Cat5e-class performance for data and voice transmission over copper wiring and is intended for LAN connections in homes, offices and small commercial environments. A flexible outer jacket and standard RJ45-compatible conductor arrangement allow straightforward routing, patching and device linking while maintaining consistent wired connectivity.
The Cat5e specification ensures support for up to 100 MHz bandwidth and typical performance for 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet where infrastructure and devices permit. The 20 m length covers medium-distance runs without the need for intermediate patch panels. Being unshielded twisted pair (UTP), the cable remains flexible and easy to bend for routing through conduits, cable trays or behind furniture. The construction reduces near-end crosstalk compared with non-twisted conductors and is compatible with common RJ45 terminations and patch panels.
Measure the required run length and route the MONTIS MT114-20 cable between network endpoints, avoiding sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 plugs or insert into pre-installed RJ45 jacks and patch panels. Ensure secure connections at both ends and test the link with a network tester or by verifying communication between connected devices. Coil any excess length without tight bends and avoid kinking the cable to maintain signal integrity.
For optimal results, use the cable within indoor environments and keep it separated from high-voltage power lines and large electrical motors. When deploying for gigabit connections, ensure connected devices and intermediate patching hardware also support the required speeds. If longer runs or higher immunity to interference are needed, consider higher-category or shielded alternatives.
