booster cable NEO tools 11-834
The NEO tools 11-834 booster cable is designed for reliable vehicle jump-starting in road-side emergency situations. With a total length of 3 meters and a 25 mm² conductor cross-section, the cable provides low resistance and efficient current transfer between batteries. Robust, insulated clamps ensure a firm electrical contact and safe handling when connecting to battery terminals. The product is intended for use with passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles and is suitable for both occasional private use and professional roadside assistance.
The construction combines a thick, flexible copper-conductor core with durable insulating sheathing to maintain conductivity and resist wear. Long 3 m cables give better reach between vehicles, making it easier to position cars for a safe jump-start. Insulated handles on the clamps protect against accidental contact and facilitate secure gripping during connection and disconnection. The simple, robust design requires no maintenance and is ready for immediate use when needed.
Park the donor and recipient vehicles close enough so the booster cable can reach both batteries without stretching. Switch off both vehicles and all electrical consumers. Identify the positive (+) and negative (−) battery terminals, then connect the red clamp to the positive terminal of the discharged battery and the matching red clamp to the positive terminal of the donor battery. Attach one black clamp to the negative terminal of the donor battery and the remaining black clamp to a grounded metal point on the vehicle with the discharged battery, away from the battery and fuel system. Start the donor vehicle, let it run for a short period, then start the recipient vehicle. After the engine starts, remove clamps in reverse order, taking care to avoid contact between clamps during removal.
Regularly inspect the cable and clamps for damage, corrosion, or loose connections before use. Store the cable coiled and protected from extreme temperatures and chemicals. Use appropriate personal protective measures—gloves and eye protection—when handling vehicle batteries. If unsure about the procedure or if battery damage is suspected, seek professional assistance.
