Pruning shears NEO tools 15-203 — handheld garden secateurs, single piece
NEO tools 15-203 pruning shears are handheld garden secateurs supplied as a single piece, designed for routine garden maintenance, trimming roses and cutting small branches and stems. These anvil-style garden shears have a total length of 200 mm and are intended to make pruning of hard or dry wood and light landscaping tasks easier by combining a hardened cutting blade with a shearbar that supports the branch during cutting.
The anvil cutting system uses an upper hardened steel blade and a shearbar to absorb cutting force, which reduces the effort required and enables cutting of branches up to 18 mm in diameter. The blade has a non-stick PTFE coating that helps prevent sap and debris buildup and simplifies cleaning. An adjustable blade spacing allows the tool to be set to individual needs, and an ergonomic handle with soft TPR rubber elements improves grip comfort for extended use. A one-hand safety lock increases user safety when the shears are stored or transported. The design accommodates both right- and left-handed users.
Hold the NEO tools 15-203 pruning shears by the ergonomic handle with your dominant hand, positioning the branch between the upper blade and the shearbar. Make a controlled closing motion so the cutting blade compresses the branch against the shearbar until it is severed. For best results on thicker branches near the 18 mm limit, make steady, even pressure and avoid twisting motions. Use the adjustable blade spacing to set the clearance according to stem thickness. Engage the one-hand safety lock when the tool is not in use or during transport.
Keep the blade clean and dry after use, remove sap and debris from the cutting edge and shearbar, and occasionally lubricate the pivot to maintain smooth operation. Inspect the blade for damage and sharpen or replace it if cutting performance decreases. Use the shears for their intended purpose—cutting small branches and stems—and avoid cutting nails, wire or other materials that could damage the blade.
