Pruning shears NEO tools 15-212 — hand secateurs, 228 g, single piece
NEO tools 15-212 pruning shears are by-pass secateurs 210 mm in length designed for cutting fresh and live wood in gardening and horticulture. The tool weighs 228 g and is supplied as a single piece. With a cutting capacity of up to 20 mm and steel blades featuring a non-stick coating, these secateurs are intended for pruning shrubs, fruit trees, ornamental plants, flowers and young shoots where a precise single-handed cutting action is required.
The aluminium handles with TPR rubber coating provide an ergonomic, lightweight construction that reduces hand fatigue during repeated use. Steel blades with a non-stick coating facilitate smooth cutting and help prevent sap and debris build-up. A blade designed for fresh and wet wood ensures reliable performance on live twigs and young shoots, while an integrated blade lock improves safety during storage and transport. The overall design balances durability with ease of handling for both professional and amateur gardeners.
Hold the secateurs in one hand with the TPR-coated grip positioned for comfort and control. Position the by-pass blades around the stem or branch and close the handles in a single, firm motion to produce a clean cut. For best results cut branches up to the stated maximum diameter and angle the cut to promote healthy regrowth. After use engage the blade lock before carrying or storing the tool. Clean the blades after cutting to remove sap and debris, and dry the tool before storage.
Use these secateurs primarily on live, fresh wood and young shoots, avoiding hard, dry or dead timber that exceeds the cutting diameter. Periodically clean and lightly oil the blades to maintain the non-stick coating and cutting performance. Store the tool in a dry place with the blade lock engaged.
