Floor sensor NeoTec NTC 250 cm probe length WG.01.0032
NeoTec floor sensor with NTC temperature probe and 250 cm cable is designed for surface and floor temperature measurement in underfloor heating control, room thermostats, and HVAC systems. The sensor uses an NTC semiconductor resistor element to provide reliable temperature-dependent resistance readings intended for feedback to controllers and thermostats. Its 250 cm lead offers flexibility during installation and positioning beneath floor coverings or within floor screeds in residential and light-commercial environments.
The NTC technology delivers stable and repeatable resistance changes with temperature, enabling accurate regulation of heating systems. The long 250 cm cable simplifies routing to controllers or thermostat junctions and reduces the need for splices. The probe is suitable for embedded installation under floor finishes, providing direct surface temperature measurement for more precise control than ambient sensors alone.
Position the probe so that the sensing element is in close thermal contact with the floor surface or placed within the floor screed at the recommended depth for your heating system. Route the 250 cm cable to the controller or thermostat connection point, avoiding sharp bends and potential damage. Connect the sensor to the corresponding NTC input on the thermostat or control unit following the wiring diagram provided by the controller manufacturer. Verify correct operation by comparing displayed temperature values with a reference measurement before finalising floor finishes.
Install the sensor where it will measure representative floor temperature without direct contact with heating elements or water pipes. Use insulating sleeves or fixation clips as recommended by the installer to maintain probe position during screed pouring and curing. Confirm compatibility with the controller’s NTC characteristics and input range prior to installation to ensure accurate temperature feedback.
