Keystone Jack RJ45 Category 6 UTP, tool-less, white — NETRACK 105-38
NETRACK Keystone Jack RJ45 Category 6 UTP, tool-less, white (model 105-38) is a modular Ethernet connector intended for Category 6 unshielded twisted pair cabling. The keystone jack provides a quick, tool-free termination for horizontal and patch cabling and is suitable for installation in standard keystone wall plates, surface-mount boxes and patch panels. It supports Gigabit-class Ethernet performance when used with compliant Cat6 cabling and is designed for straightforward wiring in office and residential structured cabling systems.
This tool-less Category 6 keystone jack eliminates the need for punch-down tools, enabling faster terminations and reduced installation time. Its compact keystone form factor fits standard modular plates and panels, while the white finish integrates into visible installations. The design ensures reliable contact with eight conductors and is optimized for UTP cable performance in typical LAN environments.
Prepare the UTP cable by stripping the outer sheath to expose the twisted pairs and untwist pairs as required by the jack's wiring guide. Align each conductor with the color-coded slots on the keystone body following the T568A or T568B scheme used in the installation. Insert conductors into the slots and press the top cap or latch to secure and cut excess wire according to the product's design. Snap the keystone module into a compatible wall plate, surface box or patch panel until it locks in place. After termination, verify continuity and pair integrity with a cable tester before connecting network equipment.
Use the keystone jack with Category 6 UTP cable and maintain proper pair untwisting limits to preserve performance. Choose the same wiring standard (T568A or T568B) across the network to avoid miswiring. Test each terminated cable for continuity and performance prior to commissioning, and avoid excessive bending or strain at the termination point to ensure stable Gigabit-class connections.
