RJ45 UTP Plug Category 5e, NETRACK 105-51P, wire-through design, pack of 100
NETRACK RJ45 UTP Plug Category 5e (wire-through design) is a set of 100 through-style connectors intended for terminating unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) cables. These plugs support Category 5e performance for Ethernet and data networks, permit direct conductor insertion and crimp termination, and are intended for creating patch cords, performing in-field repairs, and building custom cable assemblies. The pack contains multiple identical plugs supplied for bulk use in installations and maintenance tasks.
The wire-through design simplifies termination by allowing conductors to pass through the plug before crimping, reducing preparation time and ensuring consistent electrical contact. Category 5e compatibility ensures performance adequate for Fast Ethernet and typical office network requirements. Supplied as a pack of 100, the product is convenient for bulk projects and repetitive cable assembly work while maintaining predictable mechanical and electrical behaviour.
Strip the cable jacket to the recommended length, untwist the pairs and arrange conductors in the required wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Insert all conductors straight through the plug until the jacket reaches the plug end, ensuring proper alignment and seating. Place the plug in a compatible RJ45 crimp tool and perform a single crimp stroke to secure the contacts and clamp the cable. After crimping, trim any excess conductor ends if necessary and verify continuity and wiring order with a cable tester.
Use a quality crimping tool designed for pass-through RJ45 plugs and follow standard wiring schemes (T568A/T568B). Test each terminated cable with a network cable tester to confirm continuity and wire order. For longer runs or environments with higher electromagnetic interference, consider using higher-category cables and connectors with shielding.
