Network cable NETRACK BZPAT2U5E Cat5e U/UTP 2 m RJ-45–RJ-45 Grey
NETRACK BZPAT2U5E Cat5e U/UTP 2 m RJ-45–RJ-45 Grey is a 2-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. The cable uses unshielded twisted-pair (U/UTP) construction to meet Cat5e performance parameters and is terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors at both ends. The grey jacket and compact 2 m length make this cable suitable for short patch runs between network equipment, patch panels and desktop devices in offices, homes and server cabinets.
The U/UTP Cat5e design delivers consistent performance for 100BASE-TX and lower-speed Ethernet links while minimising cost and complexity compared to shielded alternatives. A 2 m length reduces cable clutter and improves routing in constrained spaces. Standard RJ-45 terminations provide universal compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The neutral grey jacket helps the cable blend into office and equipment environments.
Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding network ports on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. Use the 2 m cable to link switches, routers, patch panels and endpoint devices at close range. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas of mechanical stress; ensure connectors remain accessible for maintenance and reconfiguration. For reliable operation, connect at both ends to properly wired and functioning Ethernet ports.
For best signal quality, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and sources of electrical interference. Use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure the cable without compressing the jacket, and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors become damaged.
