Ethernet patch cable NETRACK BZPAT2UR Cat5e U/UTP RJ-45–RJ-45 2 m Red
NETRACK BZPAT2UR is a 2 m Cat5e U/UTP Ethernet patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It is intended for connecting switches, routers and PCs in structured cabling and small network installations. The cable supports Fast Ethernet and short-run Gigabit links, and its red outer jacket provides clear visual identification to simplify cable routing and maintenance in cabinets, patch panels and workstations.
The unshielded twisted pair (U/UTP) construction provides reliable signal transmission for typical office and home networks while remaining flexible for easy routing in confined spaces. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network equipment. The 2 m length covers common horizontal and inter-rack connections without excess slack, and the red colour improves visual management and fault tracing in multi-cable environments.
Insert the RJ-45 plugs into the corresponding ports on network devices until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of electrical interference; maintain gentle curves and secure the cable with cable ties or Velcro straps where appropriate. For patch-panel installations, label each end as required and plug into the designated ports to preserve organized port mapping.
For consistent performance, avoid running the cable near high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use the red colour to mark critical links or to separate different network segments for easier troubleshooting. For longer distances or environments with significant electromagnetic interference, consider higher-category or shielded cables.
