Patch cable NETRACK BZPAT55UE Cat5e U/UTP, RJ-45–RJ-45, 5 m, grey
NETRACK BZPAT55UE Cat5e U/UTP patch cable, 5 m, grey, features RJ-45 connectors with gold‑plated contacts and is designed to provide Cat5e performance for standard Ethernet links. The cable is intended for connecting switches, routers, patch panels and wall outlets within structured cabling systems in offices, server rooms and home networks. The grey outer sheath offers basic mechanical protection and clear visual identification in cable runs.
The cable supports Cat5e signalling suitable for 100BASE-TX and 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet networks where Cat5e performance is required. U/UTP construction delivers unshielded twisted pairs with an overall unshielded jacket, making the cable lightweight and easy to route. Gold‑plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs improve corrosion resistance and ensure consistent electrical contact. The 5 m length provides a practical reach for typical patching tasks while the grey colour helps maintain a tidy, colour-coded installation.
Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices (switch, router, patch panel or wall outlet) until the latch clicks. Ensure cable bends follow recommended minimum bend radius for twisted‑pair cables to avoid degrading signal quality. For best results, route the patch cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large motors, fluorescent ballasts or unshielded power cables.
Use this Cat5e patch cable for standard Ethernet patching within structured cabling systems. Avoid running the cable alongside high‑voltage power lines and do not subject the connectors to excessive force. For installations requiring higher bandwidth or additional protection against interference, consider using Cat6 or shielded cable types.
