UTP Cat6 Network Cable NETRACK LAN Netrack, CCA conductor, 100 m, gray
NETRACK LAN Netrack UTP Cat6 network cable is a 100 m gray spool designed for structured Ethernet installations. The cable uses CCA (copper-clad aluminum) conductors and unshielded twisted pair construction to meet Cat6 performance levels for typical local area network wiring. It is intended for horizontal runs, patch panels and wall outlets in offices, homes and server rooms where Cat6 bandwidth is required and an economical conductor option is acceptable.
The cable provides Cat6-class transmission characteristics over unshielded twisted pairs while using copper-clad aluminum conductors to reduce material cost and weight. Its 100 m spool length minimizes the need for joins on long horizontal runs. The gray jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for commercial and residential environments, and the UTP design is compatible with standard RJ45 terminations and patching equipment.
Measure and cut the required cable length from the 100 m spool, allowing extra slack for termination and routing. Strip the outer jacket and separate the twisted pairs, taking care to maintain pair twist as much as possible during termination. Terminate with appropriate Cat6-compatible RJ45 connectors or patch panels designed to accept UTP Cat6 cable, and test each run with a cable tester that verifies continuity, pair mapping and performance parameters to Cat6 class where needed.
For reliable network performance, avoid excessive cable bending and keep the cable separated from strong electromagnetic interference sources such as power lines and large transformers. When using CCA conductor cable, verify compatibility with PoE equipment and consider testing under load; for critical installations or long-term deployments, consider using pure copper conductors if maximum current carrying capability and long-term reliability are required.
