Charger Newell SDC-USB two-channel charger for LB-015 Kodak batteries
Charger Newell SDC-USB two-channel charger for LB-015 Kodak batteries
The Newell SDC-USB two-channel charger is designed to charge Kodak LB-015 lithium-ion camera batteries. It accepts a USB power input and can charge two compatible battery packs simultaneously, making it suitable for desktop use, travel and situations where USB power sources such as power banks, USB adapters or computers are available. The compact design and two independent charging slots simplify keeping spare batteries ready for use without relying on a camera-mounted charger.
This charger supports simultaneous charging of two batteries through separate channels, reducing total charging time when multiple batteries are needed. USB power compatibility provides flexible power options and allows use with common USB adapters, power banks or computer USB ports. The unit is lightweight and compact for easy transport and storage, and its contacts and slots are arranged to accept the Kodak LB-015 battery form factor securely.
Insert each Kodak LB-015 battery into the charger slots in the correct orientation until it seats securely. Connect the charger to a suitable 5 V USB power source using an appropriate USB cable and adapter or connect to a computer or power bank. The charger will apply charging current to each channel independently. Monitor charging based on the charger’s indicator (if present) or by checking the battery status according to the camera manufacturer’s guidance. After charging completes, disconnect the USB power and remove the batteries, taking care to avoid shorting the contacts.
Use a reliable USB power source that provides sufficient current for dual charging; avoid low-power ports that may prolong charging or interrupt the process. Store and charge batteries within the temperature range recommended by the battery manufacturer, and avoid exposing batteries to high humidity or direct heat while charging. For long-term battery health, follow the camera battery manufacturer’s recommendations regarding storage charge level and periodic cycling.
