S/CONN maximum connectivity 75711 is a 1 m Cat6a Ethernet patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable is intended for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed LAN connections and is suitable for connecting routers, switches, servers and patch panels in home and office networks. Connector contacts are gold-plated to improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation-related signal loss.
The Cat6a S/FTP design combines individual foil shielding around each twisted pair with an overall braided shield to reduce crosstalk and external EMI, supporting stable high-frequency transmission. A 1 m length keeps links compact in patch panels and rack environments while maintaining full performance for 10 Gbps links. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide consistent electrical contact and corrosion resistance, and the standardized connector geometry ensures compatibility with common network equipment.
Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the source device (switch, router or network card) and the other connector into the destination device or patch panel. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid running it parallel to heavy power lines to minimize electromagnetic interference. For rack installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.
For reliable 10 Gigabit performance, keep the cable length appropriate for the intended link and avoid excessive bending radii. Use the shielded cable and grounded equipment in environments with significant electrical noise to take full advantage of S/FTP shielding. Inspect gold-plated contacts periodically and reseat connections if link quality degrades.
