Docking Station ICY BOX 7-in-1 USB Type-C with M.2 NVMe slot, USB 3.2 Gen 2, 10 Gbit/s, silver, aluminium
The ICY BOX 7-in-1 USB Type-C docking station integrates a removable M.2 NVMe slot with a compact aluminium housing to provide fast external storage and convenient connectivity. Designed for USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C) hosts, the dock supports transfer speeds up to 10 Gbit/s and accepts M.2 NVMe drives up to 4 TB. Its slim silver aluminium enclosure (126 × 126 × 15 mm) and lightweight design make it suitable for desktop use where space and tidy cable routing matter.
The docking station combines high-speed data transfer and an internal M.2 NVMe bay, enabling direct installation of NVMe SSDs for fast access to large files. The aluminium housing provides a durable, heat-dissipating shell while keeping the device lightweight and compact. USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbit/s) connectivity ensures compatibility with modern Type-C hosts and delivers improved throughput for backups, file transfers, and media workflows.
Install a compatible M.2 NVMe SSD into the integrated slot following the included instructions and secure it with the provided screw. Connect the docking station to a host device using a USB Type-C cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 to achieve the maximum transfer rate. The OS should recognize the NVMe SSD as an external drive; format or partition it as required by your workflow. Use the dock for file transfers, backups, or as external scratch/storage space when editing large media projects.
For sustained high-speed transfers, use a host port and cable that support USB 3.2 Gen 2. Ensure adequate cooling and avoid blocking ventilation on the aluminium housing during prolonged heavy use. When installing or removing the M.2 SSD, power off or safely eject the device to prevent data loss.
