POSCA uni PC-17K — chisel tip, red, single piece is a single-piece, water-based paint marker with a wide chisel nib that produces bold, opaque red lines and solid fill. It is designed to deliver highly visible, consistent colour on porous and some non-porous surfaces. The marker's pigment is water-based and opaque, making it suitable for creating signage, craft projects, illustration accents and industrial marking where strong red coverage is required.
The chisel tip provides both broad strokes and precise edges for coverage and detailing. The water-based, opaque pigment offers intense red colour with fast, even application and reduced bleed on paper and cardboard. The single-piece design is ready to use and minimizes maintenance; the dye resists fading on many substrates and achieves good adherence on wood, metal, glass and plastic when used appropriately.
Shake the marker thoroughly before use to mix the pigment. Prime the tip by pressing down several times on a scrap surface until the ink flows evenly. Apply the chisel edge for broad fills or rotate the tip to use the narrower edge for finer lines. Work on a clean, dry surface and allow the applied paint to dry between coats for maximum opacity and durability.
For best results, test the marker on a scrap piece of the target material to assess adhesion and coverage. On non-porous surfaces such as glass or smooth plastic, surface preparation like cleaning and light abrasion can improve adhesion. Store horizontally after use and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures to maintain performance.
