Computer cable Bitner FTP Cat.5e 4x2x0.5 solid conductor on spool
Product description is under construction. Specify the parameters, price and delivery options before buying!
Bitner FTP Cat.5e 4x2x0.5 solid conductor on spool is a shielded twisted-pair network cable designed for structured cabling and Ethernet installations. The cable contains four twisted pairs with 0.5 mm solid conductors and FTP (foil screened twisted pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable signal transmission for LAN, home and office networks. Supplied on a spool, it is suitable for in-wall runs, patch panels, and permanent link installations where Cat5e performance and the mechanical stability of solid cores are required.
FTP shielding reduces susceptibility to external electromagnetic noise and crosstalk, improving overall link reliability in environments with nearby power cables or electronic equipment. Solid 0.5 mm conductors provide consistent impedance and mechanical rigidity for reliable terminations in punch-down blocks and keystone jacks. The spool format simplifies long runs and on-site installation, reducing the need for frequent joins and enabling neat cable management.
Plan cable routes and verify compliance with local building and safety codes before installation. Measure and cut lengths from the spool, maintaining proper bend radius and avoiding kinks. Strip outer sheath and foil carefully to preserve pair twisting close to termination points, then terminate using appropriate punch-down blocks, keystone jacks, or RJ45 connectors rated for solid conductors. Ground the foil shield at a single point where required to maintain shielding effectiveness and follow standard testing procedures to verify continuity, pair mapping and performance.
For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines over long distances; maintain separation or use perpendicular crossings. Use cable testers to confirm Cat5e link parameters after termination and label each run for future maintenance. When installing in environments with significant EMI, ensure proper grounding of the foil shield and consider higher-category shielded cables if higher bandwidth or additional margin is needed.
