Patch panel NORDMARK 11324126BL 19" 24-port for CAT5/CAT6 cabling
Patch panel NORDMARK 11324126BL 19" 24-port for CAT5/CAT6 cabling
NORDMARK 11324126BL 19" 24-port patch panel provides a compact and standardized solution for terminating and organizing CAT5 and CAT6 Ethernet cabling in rack-mounted network environments. The panel fits a standard 19-inch rack and offers 24 RJ45 ports on the front for patch cord connections while keeping cable runs neatly routed at the rear. Designed for structured cabling in offices, server rooms and telecommunication closets, this patch panel supports straightforward installation and routine maintenance of horizontal and backbone copper networks.
The patch panel enables orderly cable management by consolidating multiple network terminations into a single 1U rack unit, reducing clutter and making identification and reconfiguration easier. Front-facing RJ45 ports allow quick access for patching without disturbing rear cable dress, while the durable metal housing ensures mechanical protection and rack compatibility. The panel is compatible with both CAT5 and CAT6 twisted-pair copper cabling, offering flexibility during upgrades or mixed-cabling environments.
Mount the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack occupying one rack unit (1U). Route horizontal or backbone cables to the rear of the panel and terminate each twisted-pair conductor to the designated rear termination points according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Secure the cable bundle with cable ties or management accessories to maintain bend radius and strain relief. Connect patch cords from the front RJ45 ports to network switches, routers or other active equipment for immediate link establishment and testing.
Follow standard cabling best practices: maintain proper pair untwisting limits, respect minimum bend radius, use correct punch-down tools or keystones where applicable, and label ports for straightforward identification. Test each terminated link with a cable tester to confirm continuity and performance consistent with CAT5/CAT6 requirements before placing into production.
