NVIDIA MFP7E10-N030 is a 30 m passive fiber optic direct-attach cable with MPO-to-MPO connectivity engineered for 400G multimode links. The cable uses MPO connectors on both ends and is intended for high-density trunking and short-reach interconnects in data centers, high-performance computing environments and InfiniBand or Ethernet fabrics. Its fixed length and MPO-to-MPO termination simplify installation between switches, patch panels and server or storage interfaces that support multimode 400G links.
The cable provides reliable, low-latency multimode 400G connectivity in a compact MPO form factor. As a passive direct-attach solution, it requires no additional transceivers and reduces component count in rack-to-rack and chassis-to-chassis links. The 30 m length covers typical short-reach trunking and cross-row connections while maintaining consistent optical performance suited to multimode 400G signaling.
This passive MPO-to-MPO direct-attach cable is designed for multimode 400G short-reach links and is not suitable for long-distance single-mode runs or campus links that require single-mode fiber and active transceivers.
