Patch Panel 8-Port Cat5E STP Wall Mount Box MPN 3250

The Patch Panel 8-Port Cat5E STP Wall Mount Box is a reliable networking component designed to organize and manage structured cabling systems effectively. Featuring eight shielded Cat5E ports within a compact wall-mountable housing, this patch panel ensures stable data transmission while minimizing electromagnetic interference in small office and home environments.

Advantages

This patch panel provides a structured approach to cable management, helping to maintain an organized and efficient network setup. The inclusion of STP shielding protects signals from external interference, contributing to consistent network performance. Its wall-mount design saves valuable space in tight areas, making it a practical choice for installations where rack space is limited. The durable construction supports long-term reliability and straightforward cable termination.

Suitable for

• Small office and home network installations
• Organizing twisted-pair Ethernet cables
• Structured cabling systems requiring STP shielding
• Space-constrained environments needing wall-mounted networking hardware

When it may not be suitable

This device may not be adequate for large-scale enterprise data centers or environments that require high-density rack-mounted configurations with dozens of ports. It is also not designed for outdoor use or areas exposed to high moisture and dust without additional protective enclosures.

Key specifications

• 8 RJ45 ports
• Cat5E STP shielded performance
• Wall-mountable housing design
• Designed for structured cabling systems

How to use

Mount the box securely to a wall or surface using appropriate mounting hardware in the desired location. Route the incoming network cables to the rear termination points and terminate them according to the correct wiring standard. Connect patch cables from the front ports to network switches or routers to complete the installation and establish connectivity.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that an 8-port capacity is sufficient for your current and near-future network connections
• Check that Cat5E STP performance meets your bandwidth and shielding requirements
• Ensure you have a suitable wall space and mounting surface available

Usage recommendations: Always maintain proper cable bend radii and secure cables neatly to prevent strain on the termination points. Ensure proper grounding of the STP shielding to maximize interference reduction and maintain optimal network performance.
