It integrates eight 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G adaptive RJ45 ports with four 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ uplinks, delivering flexible copper and fiber connectivity for servers, NAS, access switches and wireless infrastructure in a standard 19-inch rack-mount form factor.
Featuring a non-blocking switching fabric of 240 Gbps and forwarding performance up to 178.56 Mpps, the XEL-1291 provides true wire-speed throughput on every port, even under heavy mixed traffic and jumbo-frame workloads. This makes it ideal for bandwidth-intensive applications such as virtualization, high-speed backup, multimedia production and large file transfers.
The switch delivers full Layer 3 functionality with support for IPv4/IPv6 static routes, RIP v1/v2, OSPF v2 and BGP-4, enabling dynamic and scalable routing between VLANs and upstream networks.
