The LANCOM 1800EFW (EU) is a dual-band SD-WAN gateway and router that combines high-performance Wi‑Fi 6 with flexible wired WAN connectivity. It supports direct fiber connections via an SFP port as well as Gigabit Ethernet WAN, provides up to 1,200 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 575 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, and integrates award-winning LANCOM IPSec VPN and SD‑WAN functions to securely interconnect multiple sites and mobile users.

Advantages

The device offers high-speed Internet access through either an SFP fiber module or a Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, centralized SD‑WAN management including automated secure VPN setup (Auto‑VPN) and features such as High Scalability VPN and Advanced Mesh VPN for scalable site interconnection. It supports simultaneous dual‑band Wi‑Fi 6 for modern and legacy clients, includes a stateful inspection firewall with intrusion prevention and DoS protection, and provides multiple isolated IP contexts for advanced routing.
