SFP+ transceiver OEM J9150A_OEM 10G LC SR is a short-range 10 Gigabit optical module with a duplex LC interface designed for 10G Ethernet and Fibre Channel links over multimode fiber. The compact SFP+ form factor supports hot-plug installation and straightforward replacement in compatible network equipment, enabling high-speed uplinks and server-to-switch connections over OM2 and OM4 fibers.
The J9150A_OEM module provides 10Gbps data throughput with support for OM2 multimode fiber up to approximately 82 m and OM4 multimode fiber up to approximately 400 m. Its SFP+ form factor allows hot-swapping without powering down the host system. The LC duplex connector and standardized OEM design ensure wide compatibility with devices that accept SFP+ short-range transceivers.
Insert the SFP+ module into a compatible SFP+ slot on the switch, server NIC, or transceiver cage until it latches. Connect an LC duplex multimode fiber patch cable (OM2 or OM4) to the module’s LC connector. The module supports hot-plug, so it can be installed or removed while the host system remains powered on. Configure the host device’s network interface or switch port as required for 10G operation.
For reliable 10Gbps links, use quality OM2 or OM4 multimode cables of appropriate length for the stated ranges, verify compatibility with the host device’s SFP+ transceiver list, and follow proper ESD precautions when handling the module.
