How to use

Prepare the enclosure entry by drilling or selecting the existing PG11-compatible hole. Insert the gland body from the outside (or as required by the enclosure design), pass the cable through the gland until the desired length is achieved, then tighten the gland nut to compress the elastomeric seal around the cable. Ensure the cable is centered and the seal compresses evenly to achieve IP68 integrity. Do not overtighten beyond the manufacturer’s recommended torque to avoid damage to the seal or cable jacket. For removal, loosen the nut and withdraw the cable, replacing the seal if it shows signs of deformation or wear.

Usage recommendations

Verify the actual cable outer diameter before installation to ensure a proper fit in the 6–12 mm range and confirm that the enclosure’s thread or mounting hole matches a PG11 profile.
