Passive PoE Injector Panel OEM POE-PAN16ST is a 19" rack-mounted, shielded patch panel integrating 16 passive PoE injectors. It provides centralized passive Power-over-Ethernet for up to sixteen powered devices by combining data and power on standard Ethernet cabling pairs, making it suitable for installations where multiple IP cameras, access points or VoIP phones require remote power over the same structured cabling.

Advantages

The shielded design reduces electromagnetic interference and preserves signal integrity in structured cabling environments. Each port includes an over-current protection (OCP) fuse (650 mA) to prevent current surges and an LED indicator showing correct polarity connection. The panel accepts a 2.1 mm DC jack or removable power terminal for input, supports a wide input voltage range (12–56 V DC) and fits standard 19" racks for easy integration into network cabinets.

How to use

Install the POE-PAN16ST in a standard 19" rack and connect the panel input to a suitable DC power source using the 2.1 mm DC jack or the supplied power terminal. On the data side, connect an upstream non-powered switch or patch panel to the 16 RJ-45 data-only ports. On the output side, connect each corresponding combined Data+Power RJ-45 port to the powered device using Cat5e/Cat6 cables. The panel injects power over the unused pairs (pairs 4/5 as V+ and 7/8 as V-) while preserving data on pairs 1/2 and 3/6. Ensure polarity is correct by checking the per-port LED indicators.

Usage recommendations

Choose a DC power supply with appropriate voltage and current capacity based on the total power draw of connected devices; the power supply is not included. Calculate required power per device and keep per-input limits in mind (for example, 48 V input rated up to 500 W at 10 A). Verify cable quality (Cat5e or Cat6 shielded) and maintain recommended operating conditions (temperature and humidity) to ensure reliable performance.
