RJ45 splitter OEM ROZDV8/8 1x8p8c to 2x8p8c — passive network connector
Passive RJ45 splitter OEM ROZDV8/8 converts a single 8P8C (RJ45) socket into two 8P8C sockets. The passive network connector duplicates the copper signal lines without active electronics or power, providing a simple method to split one Ethernet or phone Cat3 UTP connection into two ports for basic sharing, testing, or temporary setups where simultaneous full-bandwidth operation is not required.
The ROZDV8/8 is compact and requires no power, making it easy to deploy for short-term or low-demand applications. As a passive device it introduces minimal complexity and no configuration, allowing quick connection changes. Its UTP-compatible design preserves the original cable pairing layout for straightforward compatibility with Cat3 and similar copper cabling.
Insert the source cable into the single 8P8C inlet and connect devices to the two 8P8C outlets. Because the device is passive, it does not negotiate network links or provide switching; it simply routes conductors according to the wiring pattern. Use it for temporary connections, line sharing where only one device is active at a time, or to reroute signals during testing.
Do not expect simultaneous full Ethernet bandwidth on both outputs; the splitter is intended for basic sharing, Cat3 phone lines, or diagnostic purposes. For permanent installations, multi-user networks, or full-speed Ethernet switching, use an active switch or properly wired patching infrastructure.
