SFP+ transceiver module Cisco C1200 10Gb/s 850nm LC up to 400m is a hot-pluggable optical module that provides 10 Gbps connectivity over multimode fiber using an 850 nm wavelength and an LC connector. It is designed for short-range links up to 400 meters and is suitable for interconnecting servers, switches and storage equipment in data centers and enterprise networks.
The SFP+ transceiver supports a 10 Gb/s data rate over multimode fiber and fits the SFP+ interface for straightforward integration into compatible Cisco C1200 platforms and other devices that accept SFP+ modules. Its hot-pluggable form factor enables quick installation and replacement without system downtime. The 850 nm VCSEL technology and LC connector provide industry-standard compatibility for short-reach multimode links up to 400 m.
Insert the SFP+ transceiver into a compatible SFP+ port on the Cisco C1200 or other supported device while the host system is powered on or off, as the module is hot-pluggable. Connect LC-terminated multimode fiber patch cords to the module’s LC duplex connector ensuring correct polarity. Verify link status and configure the host device network settings as required for 10 Gb/s operation.
Use OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber for reliable 400 m links and follow vendor compatibility lists for Cisco C1200 platforms. Avoid touching fiber endfaces and keep dust caps in place when the module is not connected. Check transceiver firmware and network device compatibility before deployment.
