S/CONN RJ45–RJ45 networking cable Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) 0.25 m Black
Short patch cable S/CONN with RJ45 male connectors on both ends, length 0.25 m. This Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) cable provides a shielded connection for short-distance network links between switches, routers, patch panels and endpoints in rack or desktop installations. The compact 0.25 m black cable is intended for tidy cable runs where minimal slack and EMI protection are required.
The F/UTP (FTP) construction combines a foil overall shield with unshielded twisted pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining flexibility for tight cable routing. Cat5e performance supports data rates suitable for standard Ethernet, and the short 0.25 m length minimizes crosstalk and signal loss over a brief link. Molded RJ45 male connectors ensure reliable plug-in connections and consistent contact alignment in standard ports.
Insert each RJ45 male connector into the corresponding RJ45 ports of the devices to be linked, ensuring secure seating until the latch clicks. Use the 0.25 m cable for short patch connections inside racks, between adjacent switches, or for connections behind equipment where only minimal length is needed. Avoid excessive bending or kinking near the connector boots to preserve shielding continuity and connector integrity.
For optimal EMI protection, ensure cable shields are properly terminated at shielded ports or patch panels. Keep the cable away from high-power mains wiring and uncontrolled sources of interference. Use appropriate strain relief in rack installations to prevent tension on the connectors.
