This network adapter offers a significant performance boost by converting a standard PCIe slot into a high-speed 10G SFP+ connection. To install the adapter, power down your computer and disconnect it from the power source. Open the computer case and locate an available PCI Express slot. Remove the corresponding slot cover from the back of the chassis. If your case requires a low-profile bracket, swap the pre-installed bracket on the card before inserting it firmly into the PCIe slot.
