Oleo-Mac Nylium Starline Trimmer Line Star 3.0 mm x 15 m

The Oleo-Mac Nylium Starline Trimmer Line Star 3.0 mm x 15 m is a high-performance cutting accessory engineered for brushcutters and grass trimmers. Designed to meet the demands of regular property maintenance, this trimmer line combines a specialized star profile with robust construction to deliver clean and precise cutting results. Whether you are maintaining a residential garden, clearing dense weeds, or managing overgrown grass around obstacles, this cutting line provides reliable performance for various outdoor landscaping tasks.

Advantages

The star-shaped profile of the Oleo-Mac Nylium Starline line incorporates sharp edges that easily slice through tough vegetation, providing a cleaner cut than standard round lines and promoting healthier lawn edges. Constructed from durable materials, the line resists fraying and welding inside the trimmer head during intensive use. The 3.0 mm diameter offers an optimal balance between flexibility and tensile strength, reducing the frequency of line breakage and replacement. With a 15-meter length, users have an adequate supply for multiple spool windings, ensuring continuous operation during garden maintenance projects.

Suitable for

• Mowing medium to high grass in residential gardens and yards
• Clearing tough weeds and wild vegetation along fences and walls
• General lawn edging and boundary maintenance using compatible brushcutters
• Landscape upkeep in areas with rocky obstacles where durability is required

When it may not be suitable

This trimmer line with a 3.0 mm diameter may not be suitable for lightweight, low-power electric grass trimmers that are specifically designed for thin, flexible lines. Using a 3.0 mm line in an underpowered machine can strain the motor and reduce cutting efficiency. Additionally, it is not intended for heavy-duty commercial land clearing involving thick woody brush or saplings, which require metal brushcutter blades.

Key specifications

• Product type: Trimmer line
• Profile: Star
• Diameter: 3.0 mm
• Length: 15 m
• Compatibility: Brushcutters and grass trimmers supporting 3.0 mm line

How to use

Before installing the trimmer line, ensure your brushcutter or grass trimmer is turned off and disconnected from the power source or spark plug for safety. Remove the trimmer head cap and spool according to the manufacturer instructions. Cut a suitable length of the Oleo-Mac Nylium Starline line and wind it evenly onto the spool following the directional arrows indicated on the housing. Avoid overlapping or crossing the lines during winding to prevent feeding issues. Once wound, secure the ends in the designated eyelets, reassemble the trimmer head securely, and test the feed mechanism before starting the engine or motor.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your grass trimmer or brushcutter model is compatible with a 3.0 mm diameter line
• Check the maximum line capacity of your specific trimmer head to ensure proper fit
• Assess the types of vegetation in your yard to ensure a star profile suits your cutting needs

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance and longevity of the Oleo-Mac Nylium Starline trimmer line, store the spool in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain material flexibility. Avoid striking hard surfaces such as concrete curbs, stone walls, and metal fences unnecessarily, as this accelerates line wear. When the line wears down, feed only the necessary length to maintain cutting efficiency and reduce strain on the trimmer motor.
