The unit combines two French-style 2P+Z mains sockets with integrated USB A and USB C charging ports and a sliding cover that protects connections when not in use. Finished in silver, this model provides mains power and low-voltage charging in a compact, easy-to-install housing suitable for residential and commercial interiors.
The ORNO OR-GM-9043/G consolidates multiple power and charging options into one recessed module, reducing the need for separate adapters or visible power strips. The sliding cover keeps sockets and ports protected from dust and incidental contact while maintaining a discreet appearance when closed. Built for furniture installation, the device supports a clean surface layout and convenient access to two mains outlets plus both USB A and USB C fast-charge compatible ports.
Cut an appropriately sized recess in the furniture panel according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions and secure the unit into the opening. Connect the mains supply following local electrical codes and ensure the protective earth is correctly wired for the 2P+Z sockets. Use the sliding cover to close the module when sockets and ports are not in use. Plug devices into the French mains sockets or connect USB-charged devices to the USB A or USB C ports as required.
