Laptop Dock OWC OWCTB3DK12PSG
The OWC OWCTB3DK12PSG Thunderbolt 3 Dock is a wired docking station that expands laptop and desktop connectivity with 12 ports in a compact black design. Designed for macOS and Windows systems, the dock provides dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port and an SD card reader, while delivering power to connected laptops via the included Thunderbolt 3 cable. Its 100–240 V AC input and compatibility with modern Mac and Windows OS make it suitable for workstation and studio setups where easy access to ports is required.
The dock consolidates multiple connections into a single Thunderbolt 3 cable, reducing adapter clutter and enabling laptops to function as desktop workstations. It supports high-resolution displays (dual 4K or single 5K when the host system can drive them) and provides charging for the connected laptop and peripherals. The wired design includes Gigabit Ethernet for reliable network speeds and multiple USB Type-A ports for legacy and current devices. A Thunderbolt 3 cable is included, and OWC warranty coverage is provided.
Connect the dock to your laptop using the included Thunderbolt 3 cable. Plug the dock’s AC adapter into mains power to enable power delivery to the laptop and connected devices. Attach external displays, Ethernet cable, USB peripherals and SD cards to the corresponding ports on the dock. If your computer supports driving high-resolution monitors, configure display settings in your operating system to enable dual 4K or single 5K output as needed.
Use the included Thunderbolt 3 cable for full performance; if you need a longer cable, choose a certified Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) cable from OWC to preserve bandwidth and power delivery. Ensure your host computer’s graphics and Thunderbolt capabilities support the desired external display configuration.
