This dock offers a single-cable workflow that speeds transitions between workstations by combining data, video, network and power in one connection. Its 14 thoughtfully placed ports include front-facing slots for portable devices and media cards and rear ports for stationary peripherals, providing convenient access while keeping cables out of sight. Built with a single-piece aluminum enclosure, it delivers durable construction and a professional appearance suitable for office and home setups. An OWC Dock Ejector utility is included to safely disconnect drives in one click.
Connect the included Thunderbolt 3 cable between the dock and your Thunderbolt 3-equipped laptop to enable data, video, network and power delivery over a single connection. Plug stationary peripherals such as external displays, storage drives and Ethernet into the rear ports and use the front-facing USB and card slots for portable devices and media cards. Use the provided AC adapter to power the dock; the dock will provide up to 85 W to your notebook. Install or run the OWC Dock Ejector utility to safely disconnect drives before unplugging the Thunderbolt cable.
For optimal performance, use certified Thunderbolt 3 cables and keep system firmware and operating system updates current. When daisy-chaining Thunderbolt devices, limit to supported devices per port and connect high-bandwidth devices directly where possible to maintain peak throughput.
