The unit provides simultaneous charging of up to four rechargeable batteries while monitoring each slot separately to help ensure balanced charging. The charger supports both AA and AAA NiMH cells in four independent slots, allowing mixed-size charging in a single cycle. Independent slot monitoring reduces the risk of under- or overcharging individual batteries. The compact housing and clear indicator LEDs provide straightforward, reliable operation without complex settings. Designed for household use, the charger is compatible with low self-discharge Eneloop cells and helps maintain a reserve of ready-to-use batteries.
Insert AA or AAA NiMH Eneloop batteries into the four slots observing correct polarity. Plug the charger into a compatible mains outlet; the LED indicators will show charging status for each slot. Allow charging to complete as indicated by the LEDs before removing batteries. If charging mixed sizes, verify each slot reaches the charged indication before use. Unplug the charger when not in use and store in a dry, ventilated location.
Use with Eneloop low self-discharge NiMH cells for optimal cycle life and retention of charge. Avoid leaving batteries in the charger for extended periods after charging is finished. Charge at ambient indoor temperatures and inspect batteries for damage before each cycle. For long-term storage of cells, top up charge periodically per battery manufacturer's guidance.
