PATCHBOX® Cat6a U/FTP (STP) patch cable, 2.5 m, with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends and gold‑plated contacts. The cable is shielded (U/FTP) and fitted with a yellow jacket, designed for reliable 10 Gb/s Ethernet connections where reduced electromagnetic interference and stable performance are required in data centers, office networks and professional installations.
The U/FTP (STP) construction provides improved protection against external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. Cat6a performance supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet and is PoE capable, while gold‑plated RJ‑45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and reliable signal transfer. The 2.5 m length offers a balance between flexibility and neat cable routing in racks and patch panels.
Connect one RJ‑45 plug to the network device or patch panel port and the other RJ‑45 plug to the corresponding switch, router or outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks. For optimal performance in shielded installations, bond the cable shield to the patch panel or chassis ground according to your site's grounding practice. Avoid sharp bends and keep the cable within recommended bend radius to maintain transmission characteristics.
