The PatchSee PCI6 FTP Black Cat6a 0.9m networking cable is a 0.9 metre patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in confined installations. It conforms to Cat.6a standards (EIA/TIA 568-B2.2-10 and ISO/IEC 11801 ed 2) and supports 10 Gbit/s applications in line with IEEE 802.3an. The cable is available with unshielded twisted pair (UTP) construction featuring a plastic cross web, or with individually foil shielded pairs (FTP); UTP versions use a PVC sheath while FTP versions use a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) sheath.

The cable is manufactured with 100% testing of electrical and optical properties and each patch cord is identified by a unique serial number, with test results stored in a database. A 25-year guarantee covers use in Category 6a channels and interoperability with other cabling systems. The FTP option provides improved immunity to electromagnetic interference for installations requiring additional shielding.
