Networking Cable PatchSee PCI6 FTP Black Cat6a 2.4m
Networking Cable PatchSee PCI6 FTP Black Cat6a 2.4m
The PatchSee PCI6 FTP Black Cat6a 2.4m is a Cat6a networking patch cable designed for 10 Gbit/s applications. The cable is manufactured to meet industry standards and is available in a 2.4 m length with a black sheath. It is suitable for structured cabling channels and is intended for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks.
This Cat6a cable conforms to EIA/TIA 568-B2.2-10 and ISO/IEC 11801 ed 2 and supports 10 Gbit/s applications in accordance with IEEE 802.3an. The product includes a 25-year guarantee when used in category 6a channels interoperable with other cabling systems. Each patch cord undergoes 100% testing of electrical (and where applicable optical) properties, with test results saved in a database and each cable identified by a unique serial number. The design combines either unshielded twisted pair (UTP) with a plastic cross web or individually foil-shielded pairs (FTP) depending on the variant, and uses PVC sheath for UTP and Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSOH) sheath for FTP versions.
Connect the PatchSee PCI6 FTP Cat6a patch cable between network devices such as switches, patch panels, routers or computers to establish a 10 Gbit/s link where supported. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and routed without sharp bends to maintain signal integrity. Choose the FTP variant in environments with higher electromagnetic interference; select the UTP variant where shielding is not required.
For best performance, install the cable within structured cabling channels rated for Cat6a and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. Use the FTP version in installations requiring additional protection against interference and the UTP version for standard office or home setups. Retain the product serial number and test documentation for warranty support.
