Rubber Plug PAWBOL D.3158 16A 250V IP44 with Earth/Neutral
PAWBOL D.3158 is a rubber mains plug rated for 16A and 250V, offering IP44 protection and an earth/neutral connection. The design combines a flexible rubber housing with secure contact terminals to provide a durable and splash-resistant connection for portable equipment. It is intended for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments where protection against splashing water and solid objects larger than 1 mm is required.
The rubber construction provides mechanical flexibility and improved impact resistance compared with rigid plastic plugs. IP44 ingress protection reduces the risk of moisture-related faults during use in damp environments, while the integrated earth/neutral connections ensure safe grounding and proper polarity. The plug's compact form and standard 16A/250V rating make it compatible with common power tools, extension leads and small generators.
Ensure the supply and connected equipment are switched off before making connections. Strip the cable conductor ends to the length required by the terminal block, insert conductors into the correct terminals (live, neutral, earth) and tighten the terminal screws to secure the wiring. Verify that the cable gland or strain relief is correctly clamped to prevent cable movement. After assembly, connect the plug to a compatible socket and switch on the supply. Periodically inspect the plug for signs of wear, damage or ingress of contaminants and replace if any safety-related defects are detected.
Use the plug only with cables of appropriate cross-section for 16 A duty and avoid prolonged exposure to direct rain or submerged conditions; IP44 protects against splashing but not full immersion. Regularly check contacts and insulation for corrosion or abrasion and ensure earth continuity for safe operation.
