The Snap® ballpoint pen by Pelikan combines a purist minimalist aesthetic with a pearl-lacquered metallic finish. The retractable metal pen features a cylindrical aluminum barrel that merges into a conical brass tip; the heavier brass tip shifts the center of gravity toward the writing point for improved ergonomic balance. The pen uses an exchangeable king-size refill with a soft medium (M) tip and blue ink formulated to be more document-proof according to ISO 12757-2. The clip incorporates a snap mechanism that locks the extended refill into the push-button system and allows retraction when the upper part of the clip is pressed.
