The Pentax SD 9x42 WP binoculars provide 9x magnification and a 42 mm objective diameter for clear, bright views in a compact, lightweight full-size body. Built with BaK-4 prisms, fully multi-coated optics and new enhanced light transmission coatings, these waterproof, nitrogen-purged binoculars deliver sharp images with accurate color rendition and reliable performance in outdoor conditions.

Advantages

Fully multi-coated optics and the new enhanced light transmission coatings increase light throughput and reduce flare and ghosting, producing crisp, high-contrast images. Phase correction coatings on the BaK-4 prisms further improve resolution and edge-to-edge sharpness. The binoculars are waterproof, nitrogen-purged and feature a protective nanocoating on external lenses to repel water, oil, dust and dirt. A polycarbonate housing keeps the weight low while offering a durable full-size form factor.
