Compression Tee Perfexim 709, brass 16 mm x 1/2" female thread x 16 mm
Perfexim Compression Tee 709, brass 16 mm x 1/2" female thread x 16 mm is a compact plumbing fitting designed to join two 16 mm pipes while providing a central 1/2" female threaded outlet. Manufactured from brass, the tee uses a mechanical compression joint that eliminates the need for soldering, simplifying installation and maintenance. The central threaded port allows secure connection of valves, instruments or radiator fittings in potable water and heating systems.
The brass construction offers corrosion resistance and long-term dimensional stability in typical domestic and commercial water and heating environments. The compression design creates a reliable seal without heat application, reducing installation time and the need for specialized tools. The integrated 1/2" female thread provides compatibility with a wide range of valves and accessories, making the fitting versatile for distribution manifolds and radiator connections.
Ensure pipe ends are cut square, deburred and clean. Slide the compression nut and ferrule onto each 16 mm pipe, insert the pipe fully into the tee's compression socket, then tighten the nuts to the manufacturer-recommended torque to form the compression seal. Use the central 1/2" female thread to attach valves, radiators or instrumentation, sealing the thread as required with appropriate tape or sealant. After assembly, pressurize the system and inspect all joints for leaks.
Use appropriate ferrules for the pipe material and tighten nuts evenly to avoid deformation. Do not overtighten; follow standard torque guidelines. For long-term installations in aggressive water conditions, verify suitability of brass material. Avoid soldering or applying flame near the assembled compression joint.
