Phoenix Contact 3044188 2-Conductor Terminal Block, 1000V, Blue
The Phoenix Contact 3044188 is a professional 2-conductor feed-through terminal block engineered for secure and reliable electrical connections in demanding industrial environments. Designed for high-voltage applications up to 1000V, this blue terminal block provides a robust solution for power and signal distribution. Its high-quality construction ensures consistent performance in automation systems and electrical control cabinets, accommodating a wide range of wire cross-sections from 0.5 mm² to 16 mm².
This terminal block features a spacious wiring area that allows for the connection of both solid and stranded conductors without the need for ferrules, even when exceeding the nominal cross-section. The compact design optimizes space within control panels while maintaining user-friendly access for wiring. Integrated closed screw shafts provide excellent screwdriver guidance, simplifying installation. Furthermore, the cable entry funnel is specifically designed to accommodate conductors with ferrules and plastic collars, and the unit is rigorously tested for use in railway applications, ensuring durability and safety.
This terminal block may not be suitable for applications requiring high-frequency signal transmission or environments where extreme vibration exceeds the specifications of standard screw-connection technology. It is also not intended for direct use in high-moisture or corrosive environments without appropriate protective enclosures.
To install the terminal block, snap it onto a standard NS 35/7,5 or NS 35/15 DIN rail. Strip the insulation from your conductor according to the required length, insert the wire into the terminal opening, and tighten the screw using an appropriate screwdriver. The closed screw shaft design ensures the tool remains centered during tightening. Ensure that the connection is secure and that the wire is properly seated within the terminal to maintain the rated electrical contact.
Always ensure that the power supply is disconnected before performing any wiring or maintenance tasks. Use calibrated tools to tighten the screw connections to the manufacturer-specified torque to prevent loose connections or damage to the conductors.
