Permanent marker PILOT Super Color Extra Fine — silver ink, extra-fine tip
PILOT Super Color Extra Fine — silver ink, extra-fine tip is a permanent marker designed for precise metallic marking on a variety of surfaces. Its silver, water- and light-resistant ink produces durable, visible lines suitable for detailed writing, fine drawings and decorative accents on paper, cardboard, plastic and coated materials. The extra-fine tip gives consistent control for small lettering and intricate work while the formulation is free of xylene.
The extra-fine tip enables precise, narrow strokes for technical notes, labels and fine art details. Silver permanent ink offers metallic visibility on dark and light backgrounds and resists water and fading from light exposure. The marker works on many surfaces including plastic, glass, coated paper and cardboard, and the xylene-free formula reduces strong solvent odor compared with traditional markers.
Shake the marker gently before use to ensure an even metallic tone. Test the marker on a scrap piece of the intended surface to check adhesion and opacity. Apply light, consistent pressure for fine, continuous lines; allow ink to dry fully before stacking or handling. For non-porous surfaces, allow additional drying time and check adhesion before subjecting the marked item to wear or moisture.
Store horizontally when not in use to maintain ink flow. Cap the marker securely after use to prevent tip drying. For best results on dark or glossy surfaces, use several light passes rather than a single heavy stroke to avoid pooling and to achieve a more even metallic finish.
