The Pilot BL-FR7 Stick pen in red combines a smooth medium-point FriXion Ball tip with erasable, heat-sensitive ink. The pen writes smoothly in red and can be erased cleanly using the FriXion eraser without damaging paper, then rewritten immediately. The design features a streamlined silver body with a tattoo-style decoration. Not suitable for use on official documents.
The FriXion heat-sensitive ink allows clean erasing by friction-generated heat, enabling corrections without tearing or smudging the paper. The medium-point tip provides consistent, even lines while the lightweight, streamlined silver body offers comfortable everyday handling. The pen’s erasable feature is integrated without compromising regular ink performance.
Write as with a standard ballpoint using the medium-point FriXion Ball tip. To erase, rub the FriXion eraser over the written area until the ink disappears; the erasing process uses heat generated by friction and does not damage paper. After erasing, you can rewrite immediately on the same surface. Avoid using the pen on legal or official documents because the ink is removable by heat.
Store the pen capped when not in use to prevent tip drying. Keep away from high temperatures for long-term records, as prolonged heat exposure can render erasable ink invisible. For permanent records, choose a non-erasable pen.
