Marker PILOT Pilot Super Color Gold — gold ink, stroke 2–4.5 mm
PILOT Pilot Super Color Gold is a gold-ink paint marker designed to create clear, highly visible marks on porous and non-porous surfaces. With a durable nib that delivers strokes from 2 mm to 4.5 mm, this marker is intended for signage, labeling, craft projects and decorative writing on materials such as paper, cardboard, poster board, plastic and glass. The permanent gold pigment is formulated to resist water and light exposure and the ink is xylene-free.
The marker provides a consistent metallic gold finish with medium to broad line width thanks to its durable, wide-range nib. Its paint-based permanent ink adheres to a variety of surfaces including plastic, glass and cardboard, and offers water and light resistance for longer-lasting marks. The pen comes with a cap to protect the tip and prevent drying when not in use. Formulated without xylene, the ink reduces exposure to strong solvents commonly found in some paint markers.
Shake the marker well before use to mix the pigment. Remove the cap and press the tip down briefly on a scrap surface to start the flow if necessary. Apply with steady pressure to produce strokes from 2 mm to 4.5 mm; vary angle and pressure to adjust line width. Allow marked surfaces to dry fully before handling. For non-porous surfaces, allow extra drying time and test adhesion on a small area if permanent marking is required.
Store capped and horizontally when not in use to maintain consistent ink flow. Work in a well-ventilated area and avoid prolonged skin contact with wet ink. For best results on smooth non-porous surfaces, clean and dry the surface before marking. If stronger abrasion resistance is needed after drying, consider applying a clear protective coating compatible with paint-based inks.
