The Ethernet LAN Devolo Magic 1 LAN 1200 Mbit/s is a compact Powerline adapter kit that uses the G.hn standard to extend wired network connectivity via existing electrical wiring. The kit includes two Magic 1 LAN adapters and two 2 m Ethernet cables, enabling high-speed wired connections for devices such as Smart TVs, consoles and PCs at up to 1200 Mbps. The adapters are compatible with existing routers and can be combined with other Magic adapters while coexisting with older dLAN networks.

The Magic 1 LAN delivers wired network access from any wall socket using Powerline technology, providing up to 1200 Mbps throughput and low power consumption (approx. 2.8 W in operation, 0.5 W in standby). How to use

Plug one Magic 1 LAN adapter into a wall socket near your router and connect it to the router with an Ethernet cable. Plug the second adapter into a wall socket in the room where you need a network connection and connect your device to its Ethernet port. The adapters automatically establish a secured Powerline link over the electrical wiring. For additional coverage, pair further Magic adapters following the supplied installation guide.

Usage recommendations

For best performance, avoid using power strips or surge protectors between the adapter and the wall socket and connect the adapter directly to the mains. Place adapters in sockets on the same electrical circuit where possible and ensure firmware and router settings are up to date for compatibility.
