Craft Set PLANET model 607912 — Plasticine Mosaic Kit 'Tiger' for children

PLANET model 607912 — Plasticine Mosaic Kit 'Tiger' is a craft set for children that contains a pre-printed template and soft modelling clay pieces for creating a tiger-themed mosaic artwork. The kit is intended to guide children through a step-by-step application of plasticine onto the template surface to form a textured, tactile image. This activity supports development of fine motor skills, hand‑eye coordination and creativity while providing a contained, low-mess crafting experience suitable for home, preschool and classroom use.

Advantages

The set provides a ready-to-use template and coloured pieces of soft modelling clay that adhere to the board surface without the need for additional adhesives, enabling easy application for young hands. Materials are lightweight and portable, making the kit convenient for short craft sessions or travel. The mosaic technique encourages patience and concentration through repetitive placement, while the finished artwork can be displayed as a completed craft.

Suitable for

• Preschool and early primary school craft lessons
• Home activities to develop fine motor skills
• After‑school clubs and creative play sessions
• Hands-on learning projects about animals and patterns

Key specifications

• Includes pre-printed template with tiger motif and coloured soft modelling clay pieces
• Intended for one-time mosaic artwork assembly
• Materials designed for manual placement by children (soft, malleable consistency)
• Compact, lightweight kit suitable for table-top use

How to use

Open the kit and lay the template on a flat work surface. Select a coloured piece of modelling clay and press or roll it into a small ball or shape as needed, then apply it to the corresponding area on the template. Continue placing pieces to cover the design, using gentle pressure to secure each piece to the template surface. Work across the image in sections to maintain order and avoid smudging. Allow the completed mosaic to rest on a flat surface to ensure the pieces remain in place.

Usage recommendations

Use a protective covering on the work surface and keep a damp cloth nearby for quick cleaning. Supervise younger children during use and store remaining materials in a sealed container to prevent drying. Finished artworks should be kept away from heat sources to preserve shape and texture.
