PLANET FT-1205A is a compact 3-port redundant media converter that converts between 10/100Base-TX copper and 100Base-FX fiber networks. It supports up to 200 Mbit/s throughput and includes one RJ-45 Ethernet port and two SFP fiber ports. The built-in SFP slot accepts single-mode, multi-mode and WDM transceivers, allowing flexible fiber distances depending on the chosen SFP module. The unit can operate standalone or as a hot-swappable slide-in module for PLANET MC series chassis.
